AL 690™  [Nickel Alloy]

A single phase, non-age-hardenable, nickel-base alloy for service in highly corrosive environments. The high chromium content gives the alloy outstanding resistance to oxidizing acids, high temperature oxidation, and carburizing atmospheres. The alloy also has outstanding resistance to SCC in chloride containing environments and sodium hydroxide solutions. The alloy has high strength and ductility, good weldability, good hot and cold workability, and good machinability.
